Prompt Response: This summer, I spent almost my entire summer break at the beach. In June, I flew to Honduras and in July I went to Florida, but that's not the point. Every time we drove to the beach, I could feel my heart beating fast. Not because I was anxious, but because of the excitement rushing through my body. Walking on the sand felt like I was finally at peace and I could feel the cool summer breeze comforting me. When I felt the salty ocean water brush through my feet, I felt a connection to it. I could see the leaves of the palms dancing around as the wind blew on them. Whenever I laid on the sand, I felt the sun kiss my back, leaving it bronze. Being raised by the coast had created harmony between me, the beach, and its elements.
