September 17 -After viewing your classmates’ poem posters, select one presentation that caught your attention. Describe what you enjoyed about it or something new you learned from their work.
Prompt Response: After viewing all of my classmates' poem posters, I thought everyone’s was creative. I liked the one about making good spaghetti the most. I’m pretty sure it was by Elliot. But It really caught my attention because it talked about how you don't have to play by the book to find yourself. The poem had almost nothing to do with the actual topic of being yourself, but it still gave great themes. The poster itself was very detailed and creative. The poem's structure was really good as well. It contained a lot of detail and I was able to understand it pretty well. The extended metaphor was compared to something irrelevant, but yet it still made sense.
Summary: Today in class, we presented our poem posters.
Reflection: Today I learned how to brainstorm and the steps in the writing process.
