September 19 - Imagine you are learning about Hispanic/Latino heritage for the very first time. What would you be curious to know about the traditions, foods, music, or celebrations?
Prompt Response: If I was learning about Hispanic/Latino heritage for the first time, I’d want to know about the origin. As a hispanic, our culture is very diverse. Our people don’t always appear the same. We have afro-latinos, tan-skinned, sometimes there’s people who have colored eyes and light hair, and others have slim eyes like the ones asians inherit. For example, white/caucasians almost always have the same features. Fair skin, colored eyes and light hair. So I would want to know where it all really began. Could it be results to years of interracial interactions?
Summary: Today in class, we took notes on how to write a thesis statement.
Reflection: Today I learned to define things that were overrated.
