Prompt Response: My freshman year, I was put into a class where I didn't know anyone. Everyone there seemed to get along very well. I looked forward to going to every class, but that one. I barely talked in the class, unless it was necessary. One day, our teacher put us into groups of 4. Everyone in my group divided the work equally, but left me with the least work. I tried giving them ideas because I didn't want them thinking I was leaving them with everything, but they ignored me or looked at me weird. At some point I was told by one of them, that I didn't look like the type to take stuff like that seriously. While it did hurt me a little, I didn't say anything back and stayed quiet after that. They judged me based on how quiet I was, not my ethical work and ability.
Summary: Today in class, we completed a Common Lit assignment.
Reflection: Today I learned about what fear can teach us.
