September 9 - Which aspect of creating a poem do you enjoy the most? Tell what it is and explain why.
Prompt Response: I enjoy rhyming the most. It really requires you to think and be creative. As you're reading the poem it sounds like a song lyrics and it's really satisfying to say. I listen to music a lot, rap to be exact, so as you're reading it, it sounds like you're free styling a verse. Sometimes it doesn't always have to be the last word to rhyme. It can be any other word in the line. It could even be the first letter. I find it easier to connect to a poem that rhymes because they sound a lot more interesting. Rhyming helps dictate how the poem flows.
Summary: Today in class, we started working on our own poem.
Reflection: Today I learned how to find a title to my poem, while still relating to the poem's topic.
